Yup, here's another review by ³Murk²! This time I'm gonna write
'bout ¹Blacksheep's² first album, ³A Wolf In Sheep's Clothing²! Enjoy!
As I mentioned earlier, this is Blacksheep's first album.. The
group consists of two members - ³DRES and MISTA LAWNGE². This group is a
member of the '³Native Tongues²', a group which consists of Jungle
Brothers, De La Soul and A Tribe Called Quest. And ³BS² sounds a bit like
JB, De La and Tribe.
The album has got 20 tracks, plus two bonus tracks. I don't know if
all tha tracks are available on an LP, but I really doubt it, coz this
album is over 70 ³(!)² minutes long. The tracks are all different from each
other, but of coz the style is similair. This style is called '¹New
School²'. (Not too many samples and ¹NOT² political lyrics etc.) The one
thing that differs from the other bands in tha ³Native Tongues² is
the use of quite a lot of swearing words. This isn't very normal for bands like
this. Well, that doesn't really bother me. But don't get me wrong - this
isn't ¹anything² like ³N.W.A.²
I'm not gonna write something bout every track, 'coz I don't have
